Batismo o Primeiro

Awesome day! Hurt like none other, though. I got FRIED like Original Recipe, but... we had a baptism! Bruno. His parents are members, but he was never baptized. We picked him up at his aunt's house, took him to the ward (A 20 minute PAIN fest) and had the Baptismal Meeting at 7:30.

We sang a lot of hymns with about 20 members of the ward. The ward mission leader (Lider da Obra Missionaria) is named Wesley. He's a stud, and his papers are in at this moment. He should get a mission call any day.

Can't wait to become really effective here. My companion's taught me so much already. He's such a hard worker (just what I asked for, right?), and I love it. Always going. When the members make us food other than lunch (almoco), he gets upset and says (great...there goes another 15 minutes."

Always going, always moving. It hurts sometimes, but I respect him a ton for it! I hope I can work as hard and as well as he does.

Oh, and catch this--his dad played D-End for BYU and in the Pros, with the Redskins!
