This week went by so slow...
Some highlights:
3-14--Had a great discussion with Elder Andrews tonight. He's a little bit of an oddity--a 25-year-old amongst a bunch of 19-year-olds. Some people call him "Old Man." I think he's fairly awesome. We hashed it out a bit about trials and some of the difficulties we're going through at the moment.
In the back of my mind, I'm generally aware that the tought times are always for my betterment. Whenever I pray for more faith or to be humbled, I pathetically try to brace myself for the blow. Whenever I pray for help in my personal righteousness, I pray for strength. Lots and lots of Strength and resolve. All I know after that is that if I work hard, persevere, and continue in diligence my trials are always the times where I grow. Its just that those times, more often than not, suck.
More class today. Played some volleball. Talked to Sister O-Brien for a bit. (Think I have a bit of a missionary crush on her. Innocent? Yes. Advisable?...not really. Fun? Absolutely. Dumb, Elder Vogeler. Dumb!) She's going to be a fantastic missionary. The sister missionaries always have the Spirit with them. SEMPRE. They are such an example, a mighty influence here. Without them (I don't have any in my district) this place would be nearly unbearable. I think it's because they have and bring the Spirit. Did I mentiont that I feel less than empty without the Comforter? I overflow with joy when I have it.
UPS AND DOWNS!!!
